Oxivir 1 is effective against bacteria, enveloped and non-enveloped viruses, TB and fungi

Sealed Air’s Diversey Care division has launched Oxivir 1 ready-to-use disinfectant wipes to its infection prevention portfolio. Oxivir 1, powered by Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide (AHP), is effective against bacteria, enveloped and non-enveloped viruses, TB and fungi in one minute or less. With disinfectant claims on 75 key pathogens, it now leads Diversey Care’s lineup of fast, effective, responsible and sustainable disinfectant wipe solutions. Like other members of the Oxivir family, Oxivir 1 has the best possible safety rating (category IV) on the market. The one-step solution, designed for use in healthcare environments, is tough enough to clean and disinfect surfaces and equipment in one pass while being gentle on staff and surfaces. It is non-irritating to skin and eyes, requires no personal protective equipment and is compatible with most common healthcare surfaces and equipment. The wipes are available in a variety of sizes including the 6”x7” 160-count canister, 7”x8” 60-count canister and 11”x12” 160-count bucket and refill option. The smaller sizes are ideal for disinfecting smaller surfaces and shared patient care equipment. The 11”x12” wipes are ideal for larger area cleaning and disinfection in operating rooms, emergency departments and patient rooms. Due to their safety rating (no PPE required), the wipes can be conveniently positioned throughout healthcare facilities for use by patients, visitors and staff, engaging stakeholders in creating a safer and more satisfying environment of care with cleaning and disinfection. “The new Oxivir 1 wipes raise the bar by reducing turnover time while keeping costs in line,” says Carolyn Cooke, vice president Healthcare North America, Diversey Care. “Healthcare staff can increase speed and effectiveness with this powerful one-step disinfectant cleaner, which is effective against a broad spectrum of pathogens in just one minute. The wipes improve compliance by staying wet on surfaces for the required label contact time, which ensures disinfection while streamlining the process.”
